Grupo Clavijo supports the growth of small-scale distributed generation in Chile

Spanish company Grupo Clavijo has supplied solar trackers for the Santa Julia project in the Chilean town of Petorca, in the Valparaiso region. For this 3.6 Mw facility, owned by Sonnedix and with Chilean firm iEnergia as EPC contractor, the Spanish company supplied SP 160 single-row single-axis trackers. The SP 160 single-axis tracker is renowned for its wireless communication system, sturdiness and flexibility as regards the placement of the modules (with optimal use of the surface), and for its spherical bearing — patented by Grupo Clavijo — which is maintenance-free.
